My journey into scent work began when Comet—a teeny bundle of chaos—charged into my life. Fearful and anxious, Comet communicated in the only way he knew how: with his teeth. This changed when we discovered K9 Nose Work® and began training with the incredible John Sam. From our very first class, we were hooked. Scent work allowed Comet to tap into his natural instincts and love for hunting, helping him find calm and confidence in a world that once overwhelmed him.

Today, Comet and I are proud to be successfully trialing in scent work games. His baby sister, Cricket, has joined the fun too—and I’m sure we’ll be trialing together in no time.

A passionate advocate for good, effective dog training, I became a qualified dog trainer in 2019 through the National Dog Trainers Federation. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with many wonderful dogs and their humans. I’m committed to lifelong learning and regularly attend courses, seminars, and workshops to stay current in the ever-evolving world of dog training.

While I still enjoy supporting clients with behavior modification and obedience training, my heart lies in creating a safe, inclusive space for people to explore the fun and transformative experience of scent work with their dogs.

I believe every dog and human team deserves the chance to experience the deeper connection, increased confidence, and pure joy that come from playing scent work games together.
